Membership Terms

Item 8: - There are two kinds of members; full member and the honorary member.Orthopaedics and Traumatology specialists and the residents, who want to become a member of the association, must apply to the Executive Board of TOTDER. The application form for membership of a candidate will be evaluated by the executive board of the association within thirty days and the result must be notified to the applicant. The member whose application is accepted is registered in the book to be kept for this purpose. People who have important services in the field of Orthopaedics and Traumatology are granted the "Honorary Membership" position with the approval of the general assembly. Honor members do not receive any dues, they do not have the right to elect and to be elected.

Item 9: - Each member may leave the membership upon written notification to the Executive Board.

Item 10: - If a member loses the right to become a member of an association according to the Associations Act, the registration of that member will be cancelled by the decision of the Executive Board.

Item 11: - : Members who do not comply with the scientific honor and dignity of the Association will be removed from membership by the decision of the General Assembly upon the proposal of the Executive Board. This member will be notified by registered letter of the Executive Board that General Assembly will be informed about his/her status. The decision of the General Assembly is final, provided that the remedies are open.
